Your guide to Bumbershoot 09: Click & Dagger style

Yes, it’s really that time of the year again. We can’t believe it either. Labor Day weekend is upon us, and although it’s always a happy time, it’s also just a little bit sad for the Click & Dagger crew. At least musically, Bumbershoot has traditionally marked the end of the Summer. It’s our last big fling before the city settles in for its other season: “Fall”.

Since we’re veterans of the festival; we’re happy to share our knowledge and give you the inside scoop on what bands we think you should see.  Here’s a day-by-day guide, make your choices carefully:

Hotels – We saw this band at the Capitol Hill Block Party. You should check them out.

Natalie Portman’s Shaved Head – Fun dance band. We were there for one of their opening shows at Neumo’s and have been fans ever since.

Past Lives – Seattle representing.

The Whore Moans – Seattle Punk Rock!
